We hope you enjoy your visit to our Brayford Pool Campus here in the heart of the beautiful city of ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É. Our Open Days are a chance to get a sense of what it’s like to be a student at the ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É and discover why thousands of students fall in love with ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É each year.
Please note that no parking is available on campus on Friday 4 July.
The nearest pay-and-display car park is St Marks (LN5 7EX). There are several other pay-and-display parking options nearby, including discounted parking at Lucy Tower Street (LN1 1XL) and Tentercroft Street (LN5 7DB). We encourage you to plan ahead to ensure a smooth arrival experience. Find out more about parking discounts.
Please leave additional time in your journey to allow yourself to park and walk onto campus ahead of the welcome talk starting at 9.30am.
Visitors to our Open Day are welcome to park at the University’s Boulevard Car Park (LN6 7DQ). However, please note that spaces here are limited and tend to fill up quickly, typically by 9.15am. For additional parking on campus, the Joseph Banks Laboratories Car Park (LN6 7DL) is also available.

We can only offer electric vehicle charging if you email events@lincoln.ac.uk with your name, registration plate, and email address ahead of the event, in order to give you access to the system.

Learning more about your preferred course is an important part of an Open Day. We recommend prioritising your timetabled subject talks and activities, then using free time to fit in other elements of your day, such as attending general talks, visiting our Information Zone, or taking a campus tour. Don’t forget you can also visit our subject stands in the Subject Hubs at any point throughout the day, where you can chat with our academic staff and students to learn more about the course and ask questions.
An important part of the Open Day experience is getting a flavour of your preferred subject area. During the day, you can meet with academic staff and students on our subject stands, attend subject talks and activities, and explore specialist facilities specific to your chosen course. Our subject stands are available for you to drop into throughout the day.

Visit the Information Zone in the Minerva Building to speak to staff from key services including Admissions, Accommodation, Funding Advice, Student Wellbeing, Personal Statement Advice, International Office, Careers, Global Opportunities, and our Students’ Union. There are also Information Points located around campus where you can drop in and learn more about the University’s accommodation, library, and Sports Centre.
A great way to get a feel for student life here at ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É is by joining a campus tour led by one of our brilliant Student Ambassadors. Campus tours will take place throughout the event, starting at 9am. The last tour will leave at 2.30pm. There’s no need to book, just pop along to the Campus Tours stand located near the Isaac Newton Building when you are ready.

View our accommodation up close and see where you could soon be calling home. Just use the campus map and then follow the signage to stop by at any point during the event. Our show flats will be open from 9.30am until 3pm.
If you're in need of some food or a drink, we have plenty of venues open on campus, with all of our University catering outlets offering 20% off to guests. Alternatively, just a short walk away you’ll find a range of restaurants, cafes, and bars that overlook the beautiful Brayford Pool Marina with even more in the city centre.

Our award-winning Careers and Employability Centre, located on the ground floor of the University Library, is here to help you prepare for and secure your future career. The Team offers a wide range of services, resources, and support, including personalised career advice, CV and interview workshops, job fairs and networking events, study abroad programmes and global projects, internships, and dedicated placement support. Make sure to visit during the day.
ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É is one of England’s great heritage cities, and as we’re located at the heart of it all on the picturesque Brayford Pool waterfront, it’s a great location from which to explore the city during an Open Day.
